"Faces of the Fort - Session 5"

Welcome to the Old Fort Niagara Virtual Field Trip. The Zoom begins at 10 AM on Tuesday, May 26th. It is recommended that you login about 15 minutes early. This is a scheduled event, so you will need to be there on time. On page 2 of this Doc is a downloadable booklet. If you can check this out before the session, give it a look. It’s also a cool read if you cannot get it until after the meeting too :)

In this session, you will meet James McDermitt, a soldier in the First U.S. Regiment of Artillery during an artillery bombardment in the fall of 1812. Learn about the beginning of the War of 1812 on the Niagara Frontier through the eyes of a soldier in the First U.S. Artillery Regiment.

If you are unable to join the Zoom session, you will need to watch the following videos. If you did attend, please check out the videos too!!!

ALL students are expected to complete some work, as this is your work for the day. You are expected to create a new Google Doc, titled Old Fort Niagara. On this Doc you will write a solid paragraph for your grade level and SHARE it to jdzielski@catholicacademyny.org
