Technology

Computers influence every aspect of our daily lives. Catholic Academy of Niagara Falls believes that knowledge in Computer Technology is an essential part of the education of every student. We want our students to be prepared to go on to college and/or the workplace in the 21st century and also to be ready for a technologically advanced and fast-paced global society.

The Internet offers endless opportunities for academic research and curriculum enrichment. Wireless and wired internet/network capability is available throughout our school. Students have access to computer workstations located in the Technology Lab and as well as individual wireless device use;  providing our students with Apple, Chrome and Microsoft Windows operating platforms. Computer classes are scheduled weekly to allow students to develop skills in keyboarding, word processing, research, graphics, desktop publishing, spreadsheets, coding and multimedia presentation. The integration of classroom curriculum studies is also encouraged.

Mr. Joseph Dzielski is our Technology and Keyboarding Instructor.
