Welcome to Mrs. Edel's Class

My name is Mrs. Edel, and I am so excited to be your teacher this year in Kindergarten!  The summer has been absolutely wonderful, but I am looking forward to a fabulous school year! 

I hope you are as excited as I am to start your new adventure as a Kindergartener! We are going to learn so many new things and have exciting experiences all while having so much FUN this year. I hope that you have been getting prepared for the year and reading lots at home with family. 

A little More about Me

This will be my 7th year teaching Kindergarten at Catholic Academy and I have been truly blessed to be here! We have an amazing school community that you will quickly come to love like I do! 

I have my Bachelors in Early Childhood/Childhood Education and my Masters in Special Education from Niagara University! Besides teaching, I love to spend time with my family and friends. We have a daughter Ava who is my entire world! We have two pets; a dog Thor and a cat Sophia. I love all things Disney, Harry Potter and Starbucks! You can always catch me reading a good book with a frappuccino in hand! :)

The expectations for students in Kindergarten are high. I look forward to working with you this year to help your child “shine bright”- in reaching his/her full potential, mastering grade level tasks, growing emotionally and socially, and preparing him/her for the following grade!
