All parents of students at Catholic Academy of Niagara Falls are members of the HSA, which is the parent organization of our school. We are an active group which works with our school's Board and Administration to help support the programs which make our school excellent for our children. We also work together to help with various programs throughout the year for our children which mean so much to them.

Fundraising
As parents, we also chair fundraisers throughout the year, including our major fundraisers of Candy bar sale, Football Frenzy, lottery calendar sale, annual Basket auction, and Easter candy sale. Proceeds raised from these fundraisers go directly back into our school for the benefit of our children. We also help to support many of the extra-curricular activities, sports programs and teacher recognition. Our children's school success depends on all parents getting involved and playing a role to support each fundraiser. Working together is also a great opportunity to get to know your children's friends' parents and meet some new friends yourself!

Fundraising is mandated at Catholic Academy of Niagara Falls. Each family must participate, the specifics of which are provided to each family at the beginning of the school year. If a family chooses not to participate in fundraising they may "buy out" for an amount disclosed at the beginning of the school year.

Meetings
We hold HSA meetings five (5) times per year. Meetings are announced in advance and are held on weekday evenings at 7:00 p.m. in our school gym. Meetings may include guest speakers or presentations. HSA meetings include reports from our principals, chairs of the fundraisers and the opportunity to discuss new business and ways we can work together to give the best to our children. Elections for the next year's Executive Board are held at the last meeting of the school year, in May.

School Spirit Store
Our HSA has an online store with Fieldhouse.com to purchase items to wear on Spirit Day. Visit the website and check out all the products including t-shirts, sweatshirts, pull-overs, hoodies and fleeces. These items will not be worn with our official uniforms but can be worn on the designated School Spirit Days. Purchases are ordered online; these items are not carried through the school. This is a wonderful opportunity to show your "school spirit" with clothing items that you can wear outside of school.
