Technology, Science, and discovering how things operate has been my passion since I can remember. With a dual major Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry and Computer Science, I was employed with Occidental Chemical Corporation for eighteen years, first as a Chemical Research Analyst and later as a Computer Programmer where I coded software and taught the end user how to use it. My career was exciting and enriching, travelling often across the United States until I chose to have a family and made the difficult decision to be a stay-at-home mom. I was drawn to teaching when I enrolled my older son at Prince of Peace School. Sister Mary Asarese and Father William McGarry approached me to help them create a Computer Lab in 1994 and the rest is history.

This year, I have decided to semi-retire but remain at our school in the position as a Technical Support person. Mr. Joseph Dzielski has decided to fulfill the needs of our students in the instruction of Keyboarding and Technology and I will be dedicated to maintaining our website and Facebook accounts, the Mass Robocall Notification Program, the ESD Student Management System, sharing in the creation of our annual yearbook, and being the PR person for our school until Mr. Dzielski is acquainted with those areas. The heartfelt and very difficult decision to step back slowly has been ongoing for several years, but I am ready for some new adventures.
